We offer you this clay in its pure dry form to give you more control and more options. You can choose how thick or thin you make the mask, pick a wetting medium for your skin type(see below), add essential oils you love, and how much you make so its lasts longer. This clay can also be used as a mud pack for sore joints or a hair pack to alleviate dandruff and oily hair conditions. It will not over dry the scalp.
To Use:
A dead Sea mud mask can be made very simply by mxing Dead Sea clay with enough water, hydrosol or wetting agent to make a thick paste. Try adding 3 drops of essential oil to help cleanse the pores and kill bacteria. Wetting agents for this clay can be water, fruit puree, yogurt, cucumber juice and milk. Honey can be added to make the mask antibacterial. If your skin tends to be dry in places, try adding some jojoba to the mud.
Hair Wrap: 1/2 cup Dead Sea mud, 1teaspoon neem powder, 1 tablespoon jojoba oil and 5 drops of rosemary essential oil. Mix all of these and massage through wet hair. Wrap hair with plastic and then a hot towel. Leave in for 15 min. and then wash out.
